- Prosecuting patent, trade mark and registered design applications through to grant and maintaining the resulting registrations.
- Providing patentability searches, patent infringement searches, trade mark clearance searches, registered design searches, and patent and trade mark watches.
- Advising on the scope of competitors' rights and on the enforcement and defence of our clients’ rights.
- Conducting oppositions, appeals, entitlement, invalidity and revocation proceedings before relevant offices and tribunals, representing our clients at oral hearings where appropriate.
- Liaising with solicitors and advocates/barristers in the event of litigation.
- Carrying out intellectual property audits and due diligence for those investing in intellectual property or businesses with intellectual property assets. We can be engaged for one-off matters or can provide ongoing strategic advice and portfolio management.
We represent our clients directly before the UK Intellectual Property Office, the European Patent Office, the Community Trade Mark and Design Office (OHIM), and the World Intellectual Property Organisation. We have established relationships with attorneys throughout the world and obtain protection for our clients on a global basis.
We have state-of-the-art IT systems and use the same records and deadline database software as some of Europe's largest firms of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys.
