Dr Jerry Bretherton Joins Hindle Lowther

Hindle Lowther is pleased to welcome Dr Jerry Bretherton. Jerry joins us from another firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. He has a First Class Honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. During his PhD, he studied the structure and activity of petrochemical catalysts using a wide range of analytical techniques including solid-state NMR. Prior to entering the patent profession, he worked as a Chemist for Oxford Instruments and in a business development role for Edinburgh Research and Innovation, the commercialisation arm of the University of Edinburgh.
